Job Requirements

  • Perform Systems Administrator functions in a secure environment
  • Apply/implement STIG controls to servers and operating systems
  • Troubleshoot application issues
  • Implement Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) controls IAW NIST 800-171
  • Implement Risk Management Framework IA controls IAW NIST 800-53
  • Implement Cybersecurity processes (POAMS/STIG/IATT/ATO)
  • Configuration Management of baseline/SW patches
  • General maintenance of Blades, Networking and Storage equipment

Education and Experience

  • B.S degree in Information Systems discipline
  • 5 years of experience as Systems Administrator
  • COMPTIA Security + certification
  • Microsoft, Linux, or Red Hat System Administrator certifications

Security Clearance

  • Active TS/SCI


Software Engineer III

The Software Engineer III will develop, modify, and maintain software applications and services using best practices and standards, participate in team design and coding activities, and contribute to software requirements definition and analysis. Participate in the full lifecycle of software development for advanced systems, including analysis, design, application and service implementation, unit to integration testing, release, deployment, installation, and maintenance of system software.

Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge and experience with Java, C, C++, XML, HTML, CSS, Linux, and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge and experience with Java IDEs (Eclipse is preferred)
  • Working knowledge and experience with Relational database (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC)
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Knowledge of REST Services
  • Automated testing capabilities
  • Familiar with Agile software development DevOps Environment Experience (Automated Deployments)
  • Willingness to learn and master other skills as needed

Education and Experience

  • BS/BA Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related technology field (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience)

  • Java and other applicable certifications
  • Security+ certification

Software Engineer II

Space Coast Intelligent Solutions (SCIS) is seeking an exceptional Software Engineer II to join our Team to provide software design, requirements development, and documentation support to our Department of Defense customer at Patrick AFB, FL.

Job Requirements

  • Assist with the development and testing of software, providing software support and documentation as needed
  • Java, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java IDEs (Eclipse preferred), IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), and development of Eclipse plugins
  • Provide Tier I/II/III Help Desk Support
  • Familiarity with Agile software development, DevOps Environment Experience (Automated Deployments), OSGi framework, and automated testing capabilities
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and REST Services
  • Effective communications skills, both verbal and written – may attend client meetings, and/or deliver written reports

Data Entry Specialist

Space Coast Intelligent Solutions, Inc. (SCIS) is seeking an exceptional Data Entry Specialist to join our Team in support of our Department of Defense customer’s mission on site at Patrick AFB, FL.

Job Requirements

Data Entry Specialist tasks include document scanning, data conversion of paper, fiche, and film products into an electronic format, performing automated and human optical character recognition, and the addition of metadata to each digitized file to allow for rapid and thorough retrieval of relevant information.

Education and Experience

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience operating data entry devices inputting records into an electronic format
  • Validating accuracy of input data and maintaining accurate records of quantity of records input
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Experience using Security Classification Guides


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Human and automated Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
  • Operational experience with microfiche and microfilm scanners/hardware such as Canon DR 5010C, Hewlett-Packard Scanjet 5590, and NextScan FlexScan
  • Operational experience with document digitization software Kofax VRS and Nuance OmniPage Professional
  • An understanding of nuclear terminology

Tasks

  • Analyze Requirements to decompose into functional and technical software specifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other Technical Engineering discipline.
5-8 years of software engineering experience with standard software languages including:

  • Linux
  • Relational database (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Security Clearance

Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI access.
