SCIS 15th Anniversary celebration
SCIS recently celebrated its 15-year anniversary at the Grand Manor in Melbourne with over one hundred friends of the company. Incorporated in 2008 by...
Incorporated in 2008, SCIS provides software and hardware integration to programs at the highest classification levels. Our streamlined processes using COTS and open-source solutions wherever possible make us faster, more affordable, and easy to work with.
We are a small business providing an extensive range of innovative engineering capabilities – from initial design and development through low-rate production. Our size, agility, and cost-effectiveness enable us to deliver unmatched value to our customers.
SCIS was founded in 2008 by Brian Jaskiewicz and James Ralph. Our close-knit team of experts has been working to offer clients the very best solutions possible for 15 years and have only expanded our abilities and passion throughout that time. Established in Melbourne, Florida as a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), SCIS has maintained a commitment of giving back to the community by actively participating in civic and charitable organizations throughout Brevard County, including the Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce, Military Affairs Council, Space Coast Women in Defense, and the Melbourne Arts Festival.
Since Brian’s retirement in 2023, SCIS is now a Minority Owned Small Business. We continue our commitment to U.S. Military and Veterans organizations.
SCIS maintains a diverse set of customers with our engineering services, original products, and imaginative Research and Development (R&D) solutions. This includes the federal government, large prime contractors, and commercial customers alike.
Our unmatched proficiency in these areas allow us to support mission-critical programs for our DoD customers – U.S. Air Force Technical Applications Center, U.S. Navy Naval Surface Warfare Center Training Ranges.
Navy and Marine Corps pilots rely on SCIS’s MANPADS solution for their pilot proficiency and training programs. SCIS supports this mission by providing depot operations & maintenance support and repairs for the MANPADS LITE-B system. This multi-spectral (infrared/electro-optic) threat training system was developed, designed, and fielded by our engineers more than 15 years ago and is still used to provide the most realistic training available today.
SCIS is also under contract to upgrade existing systems to MANPADS LITE-C, which includes a new optical sensor and Scoring System.
Our expert Advance Program Engineers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and PhDs are highly skilled with many years of practical experience in the following areas of research:
